Abstract

This research consists of two variables, namely the school committee variable (X) and the quality of education (Y). The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the School Committee on the Quality of Education at SD Negeri 012 Labuhan Tangga Kecil, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The number of respondents in this study was 21 people. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. From the research results, there is a positive relationship between the school committee (X) and the quality of education (Y) at SD Negeri 012 Labuhan Tangga Kecil, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The Fcount value = 133.391, while the Ftable = 4.41 with a significance value = 0.000 < 0.05. The Ho criterion is rejected if Fcount > Ftable with α = 0.05 (5%) with a value of 133.391 > 4.41. So, the results of this simple regression test can be interpreted as the school committee having a positive influence on the quality of education. Based on the presentation and analysis of the data, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the School Committee on the Quality of Education at SD Negeri 012 Labuhan Tangga Kecil, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. so it can be concluded that the school committee has a positive influence on the quality of education by 86.9%. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted
