Pengaruh Pengawasan Orang Tua Terhadap Pembentukan Perilaku Anak Di SMPS Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to find out whether there is an influence of parental supervision on the formation of children's behavior and factors that influence parental supervision on the formation of children's behavior at SMPS Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The population in this study was 161 people, then a research sample of 16 people was drawn. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests and linear regression. Hypothesis testing uses the product moment correlation test and calculation of the coefficient of determination. The results of this research are that there is a positive influence between parental supervision on children's behavior at Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi Middle School, Rokan Hilir Regency. Based on calculations, the correlation coefficient for variables X and Variable Y is 0.817. Based on the calculation results, rxy = 0.817, meaning that the significant influence of parental supervision on the formation of children's behavior at SMPS Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi is strong or high. Parental supervision has a positive influence on the formation of children's behavior at SMPS Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi by 66.67%. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely that there is a significant influence between parental supervision on the formation of children's behavior at SMPS Muhammadiyah Bagansiapiapi
